What did everyone think of the musical episode? I almost fell off the couch laughing. I haven't been overly impressed with the last few episodes so I was really glad this one turned out so well.

Okay, I am such a nerd because I'm always quoting Scrubs to my boyfriend, and he doesn't get it, but this is such a quotable show. Here are some of my favs, what are yours?

JD: (after learning Kylie has a boyfriend) Ahhh! I can't believe it's over.

Season 6 starts tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 30 at 9/8c. I saw a preview on nbc.com and it looks really funny. Turk had his hand stuck in the vending machine while Carla is going into labor.

Zach Braff raved about his ladylove, Mandy Moore, at a party celebrating the 100th episode of Scrubs at the Cabana Club in Hollywood. "Mandy is an amazing comedian and I don't think a lot of people have gotten the chance to see her do broad, physical comedy," he says about her guest-starring stint as a patient's niece (airing Feb. 7). "It really gave her a chance to show off that side of her."

And Braff isn't the only one who'd like to see more of Moore. "In the first day she had to be aged to 80, make out with me and do pratfalls. We want her to come and be a regular with us," Scrubs actress Sarah Chalke told us. And what does she think of the singer-actress's relationship with her costar? "They are the sweetest couple," Chalke says.

"Apple added the NBC sitcom Scrubs to the iTunes Music Store on Wednesday, marking the first time a "mixed network" show was made available that way. The show is produced by Touchstone Television, which is owned by Disney-ABC Television Group. Previously, all shows made available on the iTMS were produced by the networks that air them, according to a Reuters story.
Reporter Steve Gorman said that the sale of such shows was previously hampered by wrangling over profit sharing. While neither Disney nor NBC revealed the terms of the Scrubs deal, Mr. Gorman cited a Daily Variety story that said the two companies were splitting the profits in half."

Anybody see the second night of Season 5?

Heya ...

Elliot's BACK!!! Yay!!! I think she may be what was missing from the mix. The first couple of episodes this new season have been a little on the eh, not working as well as the past side. Elliot is a hilarious character. I always thought she was maybe minor compared to J.D. (a.k.a. "Carol") and Turk, but she truly is a major part of the ensemble. Her looniness and neuroticism are spot-on, definitely something the Scrubs recipe needs.

And wow, Dr. Bob really is a cynical, cruel, amazing ass***e, isn't he? I don't care how much J.D. wants to see the best in him, he's horrible. Kind of like the Un-Marcus Welby M.D.

Oh, and how fantastic was the "Kung Fu Fighting" bit with his briefcase? Did anybody recognize that 70's cheeseball gem right from the first few notes? Having grown up in the 70's I tagged it right away and knew we were in for something sublimely ridiculous. A definitely new "high moment" in the season for me.

The Scrubs first season DVD release party was apparently held in New York City on May 15th at the Aer Lounge. New York Magazine had a celebrity reporter at the party, asking the question: "Who would win a knockdown, drag-out fight between you and the cast of "Grey's Anatomy"? The answers from various cast members:

Sarah Chalke: "We could take them. I always have two hot beverages going at once. So I could get people disoriented with, like, some scalding liquid going down my thighs."

Neil Flynn: "We'd have to take out their leader -- what's his name? Patrick Dempsey -- first, therefore throwing the troops into confusion."

I had a dream last night about Sarah Chalk. She and I were checking IDs at the university cafeteria, and I said to her that I really didn't like her as Becky on 'Roseanne', but thought she was fantastic on 'Scrubs'.

Then she scolded me for trying to let a mother and her child through the doors without proper IDs.
